Academic work

Speech recognition, 2002 – 2004

Human–Computer Interface Lab, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Sungkyunkwan University.

Master’s thesis

An Implementation of Continuous Speech Recognition System Using New Speaker Normalization and Vowel Information

Sungkyunkwan University · M.S., Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2004

For the thesis he wrote a continuous speech-recognition engine from scratch, working from books and papers. The engine fed a productive run of research: in 2003 he published eight academic papers with his advisor, in addition to his master’s thesis.
